Packing & Shipping
Protecting your artwork during transit is very important to me.  The corners are protected with cardboard mouldings, the glass is covered in paper, the artwork is wrapped in protective bubble wrap and placed in a heavy duty cardboard box. Once I have posted your artwork, I will send you a Tracking Number via the email that you have provided. Shipping in Australia can be 7 to 10 days, depending on your location.

My inspiration
A Pilbara sunset is unmistakeable.  As dusk approaches, the sky on the horizon turns a vivid mix of oranges and the local saltworks is brightly lit by the last of the sun's rays.  In this painting I wanted to capture the moment at high tide when the salt ponds fill with sea water and everything above is perfectly reflected in the still shallows. I used a mix of techniques, heavily blending the sky and water to create a subtle transition of colours and a looser drawing style for the salt and landscape.  As a result, the salt is illuminated further by its surroundings.
