My ice blocks are back in stock and they make a beautiful gift. They are acrylic block with my 'Midday Rush Hour' original pastel painting printed on the back.  It includes a foil underlay which gives the white of the surf a 3D quality.

What inspired me to paint this? 
The Pilbara coastline has some of the most secluded, pristine, turquoise waters in Australia. The tides are gentle as they lap the powder-white shore, a perfect day for the keen fishermen or those just wanting to relax with a good book. This is busy as it gets at 80 Mile Beach! In this piece I wanted to focus on the light and shadows in the shoreline wave and how the crisp white surf contrasted with the vibrant turquoise ocean.  The original artwork sold to a private buyer in my 2016 Solo Exhibition.
