What inspired me to painting this? 
Eighty Mile Beach in the Pilbara, Western Australia is an endless stretch of white sand that extends for 220 kilometres. This panoramic vista is made breath taking by the vivid turquoise waters as the tide flows in and out.  In this painting I wanted to show the gentle waves laping one another, while the fluffy white clouds move slowy across the sky.  Many grey nomads come back year on year for the beach fishing, it has to be seen to be believed. The original artwork is for sale in my shop.
